Trigger points are the ‘knots’ in our muscles that cause pain both at the tight spot and in other related parts of the body. Trigger Point Therapy relieves these knots through bodywork that applies pressure directly to the trigger to deactivate the tension. Several Trigger Point sessions may be needed to achieve ongoing relief. At the same time, Lil will work with you to design stretches and new ways to move, sit or stand to diminish the trigger points from tightening again. This technique is often used as part of a Swedish or Deep Tissue Massage.
