"Wow Lil,lets see when I came to you, my mind and body were broken, I was way over weight for my size, coming out of a very bad relationship I needed to do something for my self. I thought about doing yoga a long time and wanted to get back to my usual weight and I was hoping it would also help me to think ( work on Mind and spirit) I could be of value again. It was hard at first, but I knew other people were feeling some of my same things so I continued. Each week I found the power to practice, my mind became clearer, I was learning how to tune in to myself. Believe me if you have never tuned into your self, this is the class you want to take if only for that. "I was suffering from a bad back and two bulging discs in my lower back I needed to find some kind of exercise that would help my back and also help to loosen up my body. I looked for almost a year and then I found Lil.  I called her and met with her for a private session and found after only 10 min. that my decision was made and I have found the teacher I have been looking for. She knows my weaknesses and will modify any exercise for me. She will always make sure that the movements are being done with care and not too much. One thing I enjoy are the classes are small which gives us all the opportunity to have the extra attention we need. Lil alway stress to work at our own pace. I have always exercised by going to a gym and since my injury found that I could no longer keep up and do all the machines at the gym so my body was not getting the work out it needed and also it wasn't good for my body. Yoga and pilates just make you feel so good about yourself and your body. I feel myself getting stronger and leaner muscles without the bulk. Meeting Lil was a God send . She is caring, thoughful and knows her yoga and pilates. I look forward to the class and also do them at home because I know that I will feel good after I am done.
