Coming Home to Yourself: Meditative Practices for Calming and Centering

Led by Jacqueline Weisberg, MS, RYT

When: Saturday, March 9, 2019
Time: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Cost: $45/person

When our
minds are scattered, our energy is scattered. And, when our energy is firing off in multiple directions, it’s likely that our nervous system is in overdrive.

Overtime, the physiological, mental, emotional, and spiritual implications of chronic busyness can manifest as us feeling ungrounded and like strangers among ourselves. We may look outside of ourselves in order to access calmness and equanimity, only to find temporary solutions.

You are invited to join Jacqueline Weisberg, MS, RYT, for a meditation workshop in which we will explore meditative practices for harnessing the mind and replenishing the nervous system.

Topics such as mindfulness, the science of breath, and it’s link to nervous system regulation will be covered to support our practice of yoga, formal meditation and breathwork.

This class is designed for beginners, though all levels are invited to attend. All you need to bring is your breath, willingness, and curiosity.

Workshop cost is $45.
Pay Online

Please wear comfortable clothes suitable for light movement. You may want to bring a journal and a light snack.

Finding Emotional Balance with Christine Kurz

Are Your Emotions Making You Sick?

Are you sick regardless of how well you eat, exercise and meditate?

Do you find yourself at the mercy of your emotions?

Is shifting out of a negative emotional pattern or response difficult?

Emotions have both a positive and a negative side but often through our life experiences we have come to know the negative.

One of our most common defenses is to ignore or repress our negative emotions because they can be painful. Modern science confirms what most of us know: long held negative emotions can make you ill.

However, just as negative emotions and attitudes can create disease and dis-harmony, positive emotions and uplifting thoughts are able to create good health

But do you have the tools to make this happen on our own?

In this workshop we’ll identify some of the emotional patterns you might be holding on to and learn some practical and effective tools to start the clearing and release process.

Releasing old patterns creates a new space for bringing in positive emotions and healing physically and emotionally.

Are you ready for a change?

About the Instructor: Christine Kurz
Christine has been a holistic wellness practitioner for over 15 years.  It was through a personal health challenge, as well as other family members, that she was drawn to wellness and the power of re-balancing the body to activate self-healing.  She has been certified in many complementary disciplines that help change old patterns, re-balance energy and develop stress-resilience.

She passionately believes that we all have a magnificent self-healing body that can and does help us to heal if it is brought back to a state of homeostasis or balance. Through her private practice she has seen the power of helping others release that which does not serve them and re-balance energy so the body and mind can heal.  Read some of her clients' comments.
